Charsi karahi
The name of this dish is a little strange and exclusive. I don’t know if it has a traditional meaning or something else but I want to tell you the interesting meaning of charsi “the one who is addicted to hashish or some kind of other drugs.” Most probably we can say that charsi karahi is too delicious so once we eat we become addicted.
This dish is now common all over the world where Afghans or Peshawar live so make the lip-smacking Charsi Karahi anytime at home. Chapshuro is one of the most delicious dishes of Gilgit Baltistan. It is like an old version of pizza. Chap Shuru is a bread filled with a blend of chopped Beef/Yolk meat,onion, and other spices. Chapshoro is filled with chopped meat (lamb, beef), onions, chile peppers, tomato, and fresh coriander leaves. They are baked on low to medium heat for 15 minutes until it becomes golden brown and its aroma spreads everywhere. Jugloot Gouro is one of the most well-known places for the most delicious Chapchurro in Gilgit Baltistan.
