Stages Of Education In Dubai

The four stages of education in Dubai are as follows. Both private and public schools allow passing through all four stages and then you can go for higher education.
Kindergarten (4-5)
Children aged 4 to 5 years old get admission to Kindergarten where they learn the basic subjects of English, math, Arabic, art, and music. English is the medium of instruction of most of the private schools. At this stage of education, the main focus is on developing different skills like social, physical, and academic skills. They spend most of their time in physical healthy activities
Primary Education (6-12)
After passing the initial stage, the next is primary education. At this stage the pupil’s age is 6 years and the duration of primary education is 6 years. According to the educational law of UAE primary education is compulsory.

Preparatory Education (12-15)

Secondary Education (15-18)
The secondary stage of education is the same as the primary level but is distinguished from the primary level due to advanced and higher education. After passing this stage students are also awarded with certificate of 12 years of education completion.
