There are different types of fonts and they are used for different purposes such as classical fonts are used for a strong personality, modern fonts are generally used for a cleaner or neutral look and bold fonts are used for making statements and immediately capturing the attention of the reader.

Fonts licensing means license is required for using some fonts. But some fonts are free (means that no license is required for using them). (GPL) stands for “General Purpose License”

The fonts are the graphical representation of the text that usually consist of different typeface, point sizes, weight, colors, or designs. Common font users also change the font style or size, during typing some text in the document on various software programs, like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, WPS office and many other applications.
