How to Make Radio at Your home

Here is how you will give you a complete and easy step to make a radio by just sitting in the home. The way is best and helpful in high-quality radio creation.

Things That You Need

1.       Magnet Wire
2.       One glue stick
3.       Electrical tape
4.       One board
5.       One diode
6.       Wire stripping pliers
7.       A set of alligator leads

Method

Ø Step 1

Take a cylinder and wind with a wire with a glue stick until it covers the entire cylinder spaces. In the end, keep the wire righted and leave about 5-6 inches at both ends. When the wire is covered, full areas tape the ends and make sure it is good tightly.

Ø Step 2

With wire pliers or sandpaper, strip the end of the wire that you left on both sides. After that remove the enamel and expose each end of the wire.

Ø Step 3

Attach the wire from the coil right side and one end of the diode. You need to cut the phone cord about 1.5- 2 inches. The two exposed wires will strip.  After striping, attach one end of the wire with the exposed diode end. Make sure the connection should be a tape. If you have four ended phone cords, then you need to know which of the two are working well from four. When you have found two wires from four, then you will be proceeding next.

Ø Step 4

Connect the second wire with another wire that is coming from the left side of the coil. Tape these three wires together. Two that we discussed above, and one is here. Tape the connection and clip with alligator leads.

Ø Step 5

The one remaining alligator lead wire is used to make the antenna. Leave the wire on its roll. After that, the thin enamel stripe scraped with the use of a sharp object.

Make sure it works

Now you have a good radio setup at your home without wondering at any other place. Sometimes the radio shows some troubleshooting that can be solved as well. So make sure the radio which you make works well. Otherwise, find out the problem and try to fix it. Like if you cannot get any signal, then it is due to the ground wire problem. So unscrew the alligator clip but don’t remove the plates. On the other hand, if you have a weak signal, it is due to the antenna issue. Set the antenna wire connection.
