You have an amazing idea. Whether it’s about a product, a service or something else – you have to get this idea out to the world, preferably not as an idea but as a worked out concept. We’re not here to stop you, not in the slightest way! But, to make the perfect product, we would like to point you at the right amount of feedback. In this blog, we’ll explain you why this is so important.
Why is feedback important?
We understand that you have lots of enthusiasm towards your idea. You might think you’ve come up with something the world doesn’t know yet, but they definitely need it. You might be completely right, but as long as you keep your idea to yourself, there’s no one telling you this might not be true. As odd as it may sound, sometimes this is exactly what you need. Your vision isn’t always linear to everyone’s vision: some people might think your idea is dumb, or even worse: your idea might already exist.
When you show your idea to people, you can ask for feedback. This means they give their opinion, but they also give you tips on how to improve your idea. Of course, it’s up to you how much you want to implement this feedback into your idea, but we recommend doing this as much as possible, as this leads to a product that’s not only perfect to you but to many others as well.
How do you gather feedback?
It might be scary asking for feedback from strangers, so luckily this isn’t the only option of asking for feedback. More often than you think you’re surrounded by people with similar interests. If your friends have anything to say about the relevant topic, you can ask them for feedback. If you’re ashamed of sharing your ideas, there are tons of online communities that can be used as well. People are more helpful than you’d think, but you’ll have to ask for help first.
Work safely!
Some people are scared to ask for feedback, because they think people might run with their ideas. We recommend visiting Onsist.com before asking for feedback, so you’re 100% certain you’re the only one who can profit of your ideas. Get started!
